The right professional for the right job
The optometrist, the optician and the ophthalmologist are three professionals who take care of your eyes. Read on to learn about their respective area of expertise.
Optometrist
Optometrists carry out eye examinations and vision evaluations to diagnose potential problems and prescribe necessary corrective treatment (glasses, contact lenses, therapy programs). In the course of a complete eye exam, the optometrist can also detect eye diseases and prescribe treatments.
